Year over year, prices fell 4.2% and are down 10.5% from the peak in April 2007. July's prices matched those as of March 2005 according to the report. "If we are flexible and pragmatic; if we can resolve to work tirelessly in common effort, then we will achieve our common purpose: a world that is safer, cleaner, and healthier than the one we found; and a future that is worthy of our children," Obama said. Obama didn't offer any specific goals in curbing greenhouse gas emissions, but called on world leaders to address the problems of rising sea levels, droughts and crop failures.
